Mr. Schrotenboer graduated from Hope College in 1978 and from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, with distinction, in 1982.
Mr. Schrotenboer has practiced principally insurance defense throughout his career. The focus of his defense practice has been the defense of automobile negligence, premises liability, and product liability cases. He has also developed a plaintiff’s personal injury practice focusing on medical malpractice and third party no-fault cases. Also, he has extensive experience in handling claims for unpaid sales commissions under the Michigan Sales Representative Commissions Act. His practice has given him the opportunity to try approximately 35 cases to a jury verdict.
