Mr. Stroup practices in the areas of general business law and estate planning. Specifically, he focuses on forming and maintaining closely held business entities (corporations and limited liability companies), drafting contracts, and advising on purchases, sales, real estate and tax matters. In the area of estate planning, he assists clients with the preparation of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, funeral designations and powers of attorney for healthcare. Mr. Stroup also assists clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters.

While in law school, Mr. Stroup worked as an intern for Kyobo AXA Investment Managers Co. Ltd. in Seoul, South Korea, as well as for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. He also participated in the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and served on the board of the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition.
