CLAY M. CONKLE

Mr. Conkle is an associate attorney, practicing primarily in the areas of civil litigation, real estate, employment law, estate planning, estate administration, probate guardianships and conservatorships, and criminal defense. He has appeared before state district and circuit courts as well as administrative agencies. Mr. Conkle is also licensed to practice in federal court.

Mr. Conkle has successfully assisted clients with probating wills, drafting legal documents, defending their rights in the face of criminal charges, and navigating civil lawsuits. 

Mr. Conkle is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law's prestigious Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. As an undergraduate at Northern Michigan University, he majored in pre-law and minored in history and welding. Prior to joining Wheeler Upham, Mr. Conkle served as a prosecutor in the Calhoun County Prosecuting Attorney's office. He also previously served as the president of the Calhoun County Bar Association.
